How do I get to Starfish Beach and Restaurant?
Exit the Cruise Terminal
Take Main Island Road (Route 3): Arrange a certified local driver or pre-booked transportation and head east along the island’s main highway.
Turn toward Big Bight: Continue east and follow the signs for Big Bight on the north coast. Allow approximately 30–60 minutes, depending on port and traffic.
How long does it take to get there from the cruise ports?
Typically, round-trip transfers to Starfish Beach:
1. Port of Roatan: 30-60 m
2. Isla Tropicale: 20-45 mts
What happens if my cruise ship arrives late?
No worries—we understand that cruise schedules can change. If your ship arrives late, contact us as soon as possible, and we’ll do our best to adjust your start time so you can still enjoy your Roatan experience. If a significant delay prevents us from providing the full experience, we’ll work with you on an appropriate partial refund.

Yes, both our restaurant and facilities- the calm, shallow waters at Starfish Beach or the Starfish Sanctuary, located a short boat ride offshore – are well-suited for families with kids and beginner snorkelers.
What should I know before visiting the Starfish Sanctuary?
The Starfish Sanctuary is a special marine environment where guests can observe beautiful starfish in their natural surroundings. We encourage all visitors to interact responsibly with wildlife: look, enjoy, and photograph, but never touch or remove the starfish.
What happens if the weather or sea conditions are bad?
Your safety comes first. Light rain or passing showers generally won’t affect your experience, but if weather or sea conditions become unsafe, we may modify, postpone, or cancel water-based activities. If we cancel an activity, we’ll offer to reschedule when possible or refund the portion we can’t provide. If we cancel the entire experience because of unsafe conditions, you may choose to reschedule or receive a full refund.
Can I spend the day at the beach and also eat at the restaurant?
Yes, Starfish Restaurant offers a variety of finger foods and delicious island-inspired dining by the sea. Free WIFI included.
Paddleboards are available for a moderate fee.
